While you’re here
Stay a little longer if you can. Here are some ideas for the days around the wedding, from an easy city wander to a few days further afield.
Coffee, fresh produce and something delicious for lunch. An easy way to spend a morning in the city. Check trading hours before heading in.
Visit the market ↗Wander through gardens and shaded paths for a gentle break between celebrations.
Plan a garden visit ↗Take a beach walk, explore Jetty Road and stay for sunset by the jetty.
Explore Glenelg ↗Cellar doors and a long lunch among the vineyards. Choose a few stops and book ahead; a wine tour or designated driver keeps the day easy.
Explore the Barossa ↗Pair a cellar-door visit with lunch, then make time for the coast. Give yourself a full day rather than squeezing it in before the ceremony.
Explore the Fleurieu ↗A leafy village outing with local food, shops and a wander along Hahndorf’s historic main street.
Explore Hahndorf ↗Wildlife, beaches and remarkable coastal scenery. We’d suggest a few nights before or after the wedding, with transport and accommodation arranged ahead.
Explore Kangaroo Island ↗Seafood, coastal landscapes and, for the adventurous, shark cage diving. Make this a separate stay and book your travel and any tours ahead.
Explore Port Lincoln ↗These are outing ideas, rather than organised wedding activities. Follow the official visitor links for current opening hours, transport options and bookings.
